Waivers and Discounts Policy
The journal operates as a self-supporting open access publication and does not receive financial support from any institution or government body. Operational costs are covered through Article Processing Charges (APCs), which support services including manuscript processing, peer review management, copyediting, typesetting, online hosting, website maintenance, indexing, digital archiving, and long-term content preservation.
As an open access journal, all published articles are made immediately and freely available online. Readers may view, download, print, and share articles without subscription fees or access barriers.
- Article Processing Charges (APCs)
- There are no submission fees.
- APCs are charged only after a manuscript has been accepted following peer review.
- Payment of the APC does not influence editorial decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on academic merit, relevance, and adherence to ethical standards.
- Waivers and Discounts
The journal is committed to ensuring that financial considerations do not prevent the publication of high-quality research.
APC waivers or discounts are available under the following conditions:
- Automatic waivers may be granted to corresponding authors based in countries classified by the World Bank as low-income economies.
- Partial waivers or discounts may be considered for authors from lower-middle-income countries or for researchers who demonstrate genuine financial hardship.
- Requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Editorial decisions are made independently of waiver requests and are not influenced by an author’s ability to pay.
- How to Request a Waiver
Authors must request a waiver or discount at the time of manuscript submission. Waiver requests submitted after acceptance may not be considered.
All waiver requests will be handled confidentially and fairly.
